Cucumber salad

Ingredients:
  • 3 cucumbers (cucumbers)
  • 3 onions
  • 11 EL yogurt
  • 7 tablespoons vinegar (white wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Some sugar
  • 9 tbsp. sunflower oil
  • 1 bunch dill
  • Herbs as needed

Preparation:

Peel the cucumber thinly and cut off the stalk. Then cut into slices Then sprinkle the cucumber with salt and knead thoroughly. Next squeeze out the water. Peel, halve and cut the onion into thin cubes; add the onions to the cucumbers. Whisk the yoghurt, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and oil together for the dressing and pour over the cucumbers and onions. Wash the dill and shake dry, chop and mix into the salad. Add the chives; salad burnet or borage are very suitable herbs. The cucumber salad goes well peppers and radishes. It tastes well and puts a bit of colour to it. This salad can be prepared by young people; supervise them with sharp knives. For the flavour to fully develop put the salad in the fridge 30 mins before serving. This salad is ideal for any season and goes well with many dishes.
