Ingredients:
  • 6 turnips (about 400-500g)
  • 12 shallots
  • 6 cucumbers with shell but without seeds
  • 12 chillies
  • 12 tablespoons vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • 12 tsp mustard (Dijon mustard - needed even more)
  • 12 EL Miracle Whip Balance (15% fat)
  • Salt and pepper
  • grained vegetable broth or liquid
  • Possibly tomatoes
  • Pickles
  • Garlic
  • Chili

Preparation:

Cut the turnip into thick slices. Then into strips and then into cubes. In a saucepan, prepare the vegetable broth and put the turnips in. Cover and simmer. Cooking time is about 15 to 20 minutes. Make sure they don’t get too soft. Next, drain the water and put the turnips into a bowl. For the dressing cut the shallots into rings, add the spices, green cucumber and shredded Piri-piri. Put all the remaining ingredients to the turnips, then season with salt and pepper. Then mix the garlic, mustard and miracle whip and mix everything into the salad. Add the spices of your preference and let it all rest for a while before serving.
