Cheese casserole

Ingredients:
  • 3 kg boiled potatoes
  • 375 g Emmentaler
  • 18 tablespoons milk
  • 12 tomatoes
  • 30 g butter
  • 12 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons bread crumbs (45 g)
  • 900 g of corned beef
  • Pepper salt

Preparation:

The fully cooked potatoes are cut into thin slices of the same width. Then dice the tomatoes and corned beef into medium sized cubes.

Grease a baking dish.

Now layer the potatoes, corned beef, cheese and tomatoes into the baking dish. After each layer season a little bit with salt and pepper. Now, blend the milk with the eggs, season with salt and pepper and pour over the casserole. Finally, sprinkle with the breadcrumbs.

Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 50 minutes.
