Gyros casserole

Ingredients:
  • 1,500 g of meat (Sliced Gyros)
  • 18 large potatoes
  • 3 yellow peppers
  • 3 red peppers
  • 3 large onions
  • 3 cups sweet cream
  • 3 cans chunky tomato
  • 600 g feta cheese
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • noble paprika

Preparation:

Begin with washing, peeling and slicing the potatoes. Boil for about 15 minutes in slightly salted water. Peel the onions and cut into small cubes; do the same with the garlic. Add the peppers and onions to the gyros and fry shortly. Now add the garlic. Make sure not to burn anything. This will make it all tasting bitter. Add the tomato juice, t with the meat and the cream. Remove the potatoes from the water and transferred directly into a suitable baking dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Season the meat thoroughly with salt, pepper and paprika. Place the meat on the potatoes and crumble the feta cheese. Bake at 200 ° C for about 20 minutes or until the cheese has a nice colour.
