Potato dumplings fried

Category: Side dishes
Difficulty/Costs: medium / moderate
Number of people: 10
Ingredients:
  • 5 packs potato dumpling dough
  • 150 g flaked almonds
  • 150g butter
  • Flour
  • 5 El chopped parsley
  • 50 ml oil

Preparation:

Take 5 kitchen towels and dust them lightly with flour. Then form the potato dough into 25 cm pieces and wrap them tightly in the towels. Seal them with a string on both ends.

In several pots bring sufficiently salt water to the boil.

If the boiling point is reached, place the dumplings, still wrapped in the towels into the water and cook for about 25 minutes over medium heat and below the boiling point.

When cooked remove them from the water and towels, give them a moment to cool down and then cut into equal slices.

Now just take a non-stick pan, add the oil and heat it up. Fry the slices over medium heat on both sides until golden brown. When finished garnish with almond flakes, parsley and butter.

Before serving put some roasted almond flakes over the hot dumplings. This dish goes extremely well with a roast.
