Lentil soup

Ingredients:
  • 500 g lentils
  • 3 litre of broth
  • 2 leeks (leek)
  • 1 medium celery
  • 4 large carrots
  • 5 large potatoes
  • 4 sausages (Mette ends, pork sausage spread)
  • 1 Leg meat (bovine)
  • 250g minced
  • 1 slice of bacon
  • 3 medium onions
  • Vinegar for taste

Preparation:

Soak the lentils in enough water. Cook the meat in 3 litres of broth and cook. Remove from the pot and let cool slightly. Then chop it and put it back to the broth. Clean the vegetables and the potatoes in advance and wash. Wash the leeks and cut into rings. Then wash the spring onions and cut into rings as well. Lentils and the sausage to the soup and cook it all. Mix the meat with mince, onions, egg, salt and pepper and form into small balls. After about 25 minutes add the meatballs to the vegetables and cook for another 30 minutes. In the meantime, sauté the bacon and onions. If you want, sprinkle some flour on top, to bind the soup. The lentil soup is a great dish for the colder season and also gives a lot of energy for numerous activities.
