Help, a virus!

Help, a virus! "Oh, no! A virus!" If someone says such things when he is sitting in front of his PC, you can be sure that it is not good!

If a PC has a virus, it doesn’t have a cold or measles on the screen, but such a virus can effect certain areas, programs or even the whole mother board of the PC...

If the PC gives out a warning message, it is usually too late because most of the damage has been done. A virus can be passed on to other PC users through programs, data or games. To protect yourself against this, you obviously need an Anti-Virus-Program. Logical. ;-)

Sometimes only one can help: "format C:". A virus brings a lot of trouble and problems before everything is O.K. again.

It is the same in our lives: There are sometimes little things which mess up our lives. Everything starts off small and harmless, but it slowly infects everything in our lives such as: A small quarrel can turn into a major falling out or a little white lie turns into a massive lie because you have to keep lying to cover your own tracks... It is like a disturbing virus in the heart and in the thoughts ... What can we do against this? An expert or professional would help with a computer virus but what do I do about a virus which has infected my life? I can talk about it with God and ask him for forgiveness. God is the expert on or lives and he knows us through and through. It is written in the bible:

Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139, 23-24

We can therefore be sure that God will help us and free our hearts from viruses. He promised this. :-)
