Overview: Ghost stories

He’s coming

It was actually a really calm day, nothing could have indicated to what was about to happen, something that only a fast noise and thunderous rumbling could announce, but then it was usually too late, only this unbearable silence, It seemed like the drawing of breath before a jump as not even the birds made a sound.

A chill ran up my spine, I don’t know why, but I had a funny feeling, I don’t know where my anxiety had come from, I felt hot then cold. Suddenly I remembered. The fear crept up me and almost crushed me, I wanted to walk away but I couldn’t, it was as if I was frozen. Even if I had been able to move, it would’ve been too late – if only if I had remembered earlier. And there it was, that terrible rumble, like thunder, like a lion ready to jump, he came – I stood almost next to him, face to face, it had come so far. He was here.

The school bus now stood right next to me. And I got in, setting upon a new, strenuous and nerve-racking day at school.
