Fall Down Box

The fall down box, falls, as the name suggests, after opening apart. To do this, cords are cut and then the lid is opened. After opening, in the middle of the box a heart could come to light, a gift of money, or any other gift. The sidewalls as well the bottom could be decorated with pictures.

From a thick craft paper cut out the unfolded cube on the right side. The size is up to you.

The simple box (A) is cut out without, the box (B) is cut out with the lateral sides. If you do not fold the edges neatly, you can see through the corners with box (A). Box (B) is a little harder to fold because the red marked areas must be folded inwards.

Now you can decorate your box on the in- and outside. You can draw on-, stick images to it or label it. On the red dashed line slightly scratch the paper, using a cutter and fold it upwards 90 degrees.

In version (B), the red areas have to be folded 90 degrees inwards.

Now, through the holes thread a beautiful string in a way, so that the string runs on the outside of the edges.

Now just make a lid out of the construction paper. Cut out the white and grey areas and fold them 90 degrees upwards; then stick it together.

The lid on the box and your perfect gift is finished.
