Cookies Men

There is hardly anything else enjoyable as baking cookies with their parents for Christmas. The baking time can also be used to craft some cookie men. Usually, those men are made of gingerbread. However, that can be a lot of effort. The alternative is to use shortbread.

Materials:

  • Dough
  • Food colouring
  • Wool or fabric as decoration
  • A dull knife, a brush

Instructions for Cookies Men

Once the dough is kneaded, it is rolled out flat on the table. The figure of the cookie men can be “drawn” on the dough using the knife. That has the advantage that mistakes can be undone quickly. Next cut your cookie guys out and bake them with the rest of the cookies.

Once the cookies and cookie men are cooled down, they can be painted with food colour and decorate with fabric and wool. For example, you can give them smiley faces and wrap them in ribbons and bows.
