Welcome Sign

Whatever the occasion or reason behind this welcome sign, there are no limits to imagination when it comes to making it– be it plain and simple or colourful and unusual. To make a sign like this you will need the following: paper in various colours (the best thing to use is craft paper), a banner, rope, card, a pair of scissors, a pencil, a Stanley knife, glue gun and an all purpose adhesive, multi-coloured pens, dried flowers and glitter spray .

Using the Stanley knife and the card, templates are made which will help when it comes to cutting out the letters; the letters can be different and variable. Depending on the type of banner, attach the letters using either the all purpose adhesive or the glue gun. It still remains to make the banner look a little more attractive which is where the dried flowers and glitter spray come into play. The flowers are attached using the glue gun and to create a few highlights spray the glitter on a few individual sections. When everything has dried well i.e. the glue and spray, the welcome sign can be hung from all four corners to the rope and will surely create a successful surprise!
