A birdhouse with an automatic feeder

Using a pet bottle, the seeds only slip further down when the birds feed.

Well, and that’s how the finished bird feeder looks like.

The rear, bottom wooden plates each are 20 mm thick, all others are 10mm.

The bottle is attached to the top wood with 3 screws. The angle of the slopes is 45 degrees.

The bottle opening should be 2 cm above the ground.

The roof is also made out of wood, 2 cm thick.

For the roof you also can use tar paper or glue small wooden shingles on it. In any case, the roof should be protected with a clear coat against the elements.

This lid is upside down; the diameter must be precisely adapted to the bottle. Then the lid is placed on top of the pet bottle, in which the feed is administered.
