Crafts preparation
Whole mornings or afternoons can filled with craft ideas. Not all crafts are suitable for all age groups and abilities of children. Simple ideas which do not take up too much time are particularly effective. A positive result must however be recognisable. It is a good idea to split the group into workshops each led by a member of staff, as 20 „crafty“ kids can be difficult to supervise. The key to success is preparation. The correct materials in the correct quantities should be bought in beforehand. The tools should also be laid out (in correct quantity). The workshop leader should have already tried out the craft himself.
On this page, we will present a few craft ideas which we have tried out ourselves during free time or within a craft hour with the groups. There are of course many, many more ideas. If anyone has tried out a craft and wants to share his idea, simply send us the description by mail.
