Games Using Corks

Corks are easily obtainable, are lightweight and don’t take up much space. Ideal for every game case and are quickly taken out for a few games.

Pass the Cork
  1. Pass the Cork

    Each team sits next to each other and has taken off their shoes and socks. Using only the toes, a cork is passed person to person (players sit about 50 cm apart). The winner is the team who passes the most corks from the start to the finish where a container is used to collect them. Skipping a player is not allowed.

  2. Build a Cork Tower

    The group tries to stack as many corks as possible to build a tower. The tower must stand for 5 seconds. For each cork used, one point is given.

  3. Cork Bowling

    10 corks are placed in a row 150 cm away from the start on the ground. Using a table tennis ball or a token, the player bowls and tries to knock down the corks. 5-10 tires are allowed. One point is given for each knocked down cork.

  1. Cork Shoot

    10 corks are placed in a row 150 cm away from the start on the ground. Using a rubber band and 10 balls (small, made up of paper crushed into a ball), the player shoots the corks. One point is given for each cork that is hit.

  2. Cork Collection

    100 corks are tossed into water (lake, pond, pool). The group must try to collect as many corks as possible within 60 seconds and put them in a container. If no water is available, this game may also be played in the group room, tossing t he corks on the floor, etc.

  3. Cork Toss

    3 bowls are placed 1, 2, and 3 meters away from the start. The group must toss 10 (20) corks in these bowls. One point is given for each cork that lands in the first bowl, 2 points for the second bowl and 3 points for the third bowl.

  4. Cork Ships

    Using corks, match sticks, wooden skewers and paper, each team builds a ship. When all have finished building their ships, a floating and sailing contest is made. The fastest or the ship that goes the farthest is the winner.

  5. Cork Transport

    A player moves along the course sitting on a board with corks as the wheels. The corks must be moved again and again in front of the board as the player moves forward.

  6. Cork Necklace

    A cork is cut into slices and threaded with a string to make a pretty necklace. Beads, chestnuts, sea shells or small feathers can be threaded between the cork slices to make a colorful necklace.
