Easter bunnies

Easter bunnies

Materials:

  • Plastic egg or blown out eggs.
  • Craft paper
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Polystyrene balls
  • Felt pens
  • Thread, glue, scissors

Instructions Polystyrene-stage:

Using a small piece of pipe cleaner and some craft glue, stick one small polystyrene ball onto a slightly larger polystyrene ball. Draw a face onto the smaller ball using a felt tip pin. Punch a hole into the head end and create two ears out of pipe cleaners – securing with glue. Onto the body (the larger ball), stick small pieces of pipe cleaner as paws. Tie a thread around the neck to hang it up.

Instructions Egg-bunny:

At the centre of the bigger half of the blown out/plastic egg, using a sharp object, carefully make a hole. Cut out a head and two hind legs out of craft card, paint or decorate as desired. Stick the head onto the smaller part of the egg, and the hind legs onto the left and right hand sides. Out of a small piece of pipe cleaner make a small bushy tail and place it into the rear hole of the egg – perhaps requiring some glue.

Tie a thread into the middle of the egg to enable it to be hung up and use it as decoration for the Easter bouquet.
