Easter egg finger prints

Easter egg finger prints

Material:

  • Acrylic paints in different colours
  • White blown eggs
  • White sewing thread
  • A sewing needle
  • A match
  • Corks
  • Kebab stick

How to make it:

  1. Paint the tip of your index finger with a medium sized paintbrush and one of the paints and press your finger firmly onto the egg. After each print the finger is painted with paint once again.

  2. If you change colour be sure to wipe your finger thoroughly with a damp cloth and to clean the paintbrush well.

  3. The eggs are decorated with bright overlapping colours. You can also make a certain pattern if you like.

  4. In order to hang the eggs up you should cut a matchstick in half, attach a piece of thread around it and tie a knot and lead it into the hole in the egg. Make sure that the matchstick is horizontal.

  5. Once the eggs have been blown it makes sense to place them on a kebab stick between to corks. The eggs do not slip around and you can leave them to dry by sticking them into a piece of polystyrene for example.
