Gypsy-Bride costume

You will need: lots of tassels, beads, and a fan, black and lilac fabric. Large meshed fish-net stockings, black ankle boots and a black wig. Now get making! The skirt is cut and sewn to make it look angular i.e. keeping with the fashion of today so that one leg is more revealed than the other! As a feature, the side of the skirt which is higher up than the other can be slightly ruffled. The skirt should be ‘flow’ towards the bottom and swing from side to side; however, the skirt can also be made as a mini-skirt in which case it need not ‘flow’ as much.

Then sew tassels to the seam, taking them all the way around (even up the diagonal section). At the top of the skirt sew more tassels alongside lots of pearls/beads. The top can be made to individual taste; it should be suitable for the time of year and be decorated with tassels and beads. The wig is decorated with glitter stones and large-meshed fishnet stockings and black ankle boots complete the outfit. Also don’t forget large hoop-earrings. The make-up should match the costume and be dark and mysterious.
