Caterpillar

Caterpillar

Material:

A pair of compasses, coloured paper, felt tip pens, scissors and glue

Craft instructions:

Lots of circles with the same size are drawn onto different coloured pieces of paper with a compass and are then cut out. There should be at least five circles for a caterpillar. Afterwards, a somewhat smaller circle is drawn and cut out. The same sized circles are placed in a row overlapping a little. The little circle is stuck onto the first larger circle. The caterpillar’s feet are now drawn onto coloured paper and are cut out. It is best to cut out one foot and then use it as a stencil for the next feet so that they all look similar. The feet are now stuck to the body from underneath. One foot is placed under each circle. Now thin strips of coloured paper are cut out and stuck onto the first circle which represents the caterpillar’s head. An eye and a mouth are then drawn onto the first circle with a black felt tip pen and the caterpillar is finished.
