Throwing Ring Game

Material:

  • 3 empty kitchen rolls or 6 empty toilet paper rolls
  • Cardboard and construction paper in various colours
  • Red crepe paper or fabric
  • Gold Paper
  • Adhesive
  • Scissors
  • Pencils

Preparation:

First, you have to print the template and glue it to the cardboard. Cut them out and reproduce them so that the kids don’t always have to wait for the template. For younger children you would prepare the shapes already on the construction paper so that the child only has to cut it out and is not overwhelmed by drawing them as well.

Instructions:

First you need to cut three rectangles with the dimensions 18.5 x 16cm, which are wrapped around the kitchen- or the toilet paper rolls and stick them on, at the lower side. On the top end draw the face (see template), and glue it on as well. The arms are stuck to the body on both sides. For the king use red crepe paper or fabric to cut out the jacket. The crown you cut out of the gold paper. For two people at the time, a hat is folded from an 11.5 to 15cm rectangle paper. After you have written any number on the people, preferably giving the king the highest, stick them to a cardboard so it doesn’t fall over. Finally, you just need to cut out several cardboard rings, with an outer radius of 9.5 cm and an inner radius of 7.5 cm.
