Living room games 2

Following are more games to play at home in the living room during the Corona crisis. The games are suitable for young and old, some games can also be played via webcam. However, you would have to have the whole living room - i.e., the playing field in view. But with a bit of creativity, this is feasible.

There are 2000-3000 games in this game collection. Many of the games can be played even in a small family circle. Even some skits can be played. There are many suggestions and with some modification they are fit for the living room or even feasible in the garden. Special times require unique ideas. I am sure: only online Daddel games, or watching movies around the clock, that can't be it either. Crises and long-term consequences are inevitable. Try one or the other idea in the family circle and you will be surprised.

Corona - Living room games

Paper cup tower with intermediate floor

The candidate stacks 4 plastic or paper cups on top of each other. The opening points downwards in each case. Between each cup, the player puts a DINA5 paper. Then, from top to bottom, the piece is pulled away with a short jerk so that the top cup slides into the cup below. Then the next sheet of paper is pulled away until all 4 cups are stacked, one inside the other on the table. If the structure falls apart before then, the assembly must be repeated. The winner is the one who has stacked his 4 cups into each other the fastest.

Building a tower out of paper

For this task, each team needs about 15 sheets (DINA 5) of strong paper or cardboard sheets (thickness of index cards). Approximately 10 sheets are folded in the middle to stand upright at a 90-degree angle. Now always 2 folded cardboard parts form a floor. A sheet of paper is placed on top to build the next floor. The goal is to create the highest tower (if necessary, have more material ready) or build all components within one minute. Which team has built the tallest tower or was the fastest?

Aiming at paper cups with rubber bullets

5 to 10 paper cups are placed on the edge of a table. Aim and shoot at the paper cups with rubber bullets from a distance of 3 meters. How many paper cups can be fired from the edge of the table within one minute or with 10 shots?

Alternative: instead of aiming the rubber bullets at the cups, it is also possible to use paper staples.

Increase requirements: It is more difficult if wooden clothespins are placed vertically instead of paper or plastic cups and an attempt is made to shoot them down.

Spaghetti noodle

On the edge of the table, 10 noodles with a hole are placed. The candidate gets a long spaghetti in his mouth. Now he has to try to thread one noodle after the other onto his spaghetti. After one minute, it is counted who has stacked the most noodles on the spaghetti.

Balloon Wind

On the edge of a table, 10-20 plastic cups are placed. The contestant blows up a balloon to then blow down one cup from the edge of the table with the help of the air that is slowly let out. Once the balloon is empty, blow it up again to blow the remaining cups off the table.

Paper cup flick catapult

A plastic cup is placed at the edge of the table to protrude about 2cm from the edge of the table. The cup is now given a push from below with the finger so that the cup is catapulted upwards. The cup should then land on the table with the edge of the cup facing downwards and remain there.

Variation: the plastic cup should be turned upside down over a can or bottle standing on the table.
