Scrambled Egg to wake up

Category: Breakfast
Difficulty/Costs: simple/low
Number of people: 12
Ingredients:
  • 6 large onions
  • 24 eggs
  • 200g salami
  • Butter for the pan
  • 6 slices of good cheese (e.g. Appenzeller)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika

Preparation:

Peel the onions and cut in half. Then cut them into slices. If you like, you can also dice them. Buying the salami is best in one piece. However, if you want, you can also buy it slices. Depending on the diameter you might dice the salami. Place the frying pan on the stove to warm and melt the butter. Put the onions in until they are glassy. Then they are ready to put the salami on top. Be careful that the onions do not burn Now whisk the eggs, add salt, paprika and pepper. Be careful with the seasoning because the salami is already hot. Now pour the egg mixture over the salami and cook until the eggs are done. Stir occasionally. Just before serving, put some cheese on the eggs. Serve with bread or toast. If you want, you can spice the eggs up with tomatoes and pepper strips.
