Danish cucumber bread

Ingredients:
  • 200g prawns
  • 4-rod white breads
  • 500 g cucumber
  • 4 tablespoons dill
  • 2 tablespoons sherry
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 40 g butter
  • 4 tablespoons sherry
  • Pepper salt

Preparation:

Whenever you use shrimps for a Danish Cucumber Bread, make sure, they are fresh because only then, they taste really great.

Dip the crabs in 2 tablespoons Sherry and allow in the fridge for several yours.

In the meantime, cut the baguette into 3 cm thick slices. Make little holes into the dough and butter it.

Next, peel the cucumber and cut into 3 cm thick slices as well. Then cut out the inside, cut into small cubes. The hollow cucumber slices then place into the hollow of the buttered bread.

Take the remaining sherry, mayonnaise and the finely chopped dill to make a delicious salad dressing. Season with salt and pepper, add the cucumber cubes and mix well.

Mix the salad dressing with the cucumber cubes and crabs and mix well before serving.
