Mascarpone apple cream

Category: Dessert
Difficulty/Costs: medium / low
Number of people: 12
Ingredients:
  • 750g mascarpone
  • 1650g applesauce from a jar
  • 150 g ladyfingers
  • 9 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 750 g low-fat quark
  • 90g icing sugar
  • 6 apples
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • to garnish slices of apple

Preparation:

In a large bowl put the low-fat cheese, the Mascarpone, 750 g applesauce, and 6 tablespoons lemon juice, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and powdered sugar and stir well.

Quarter the apples and remove the seeds. Then cut them into small cubes. For them not to turn brown sprinkle them with lemon juice and mix with the remaining applesauce. That start to break the ladyfingers.

Now you can pour the apple mass into dessert glasses. Chop the biscuits into small pieces and layer them with the apple cubes and put on top the apple sauce.

Place the glasses into the fridge for about 2 – 3 hours so that they are really cold. Decorate with an apple slice before serving.
