Category: Dessert
Difficulty/Costs: easy/low
Number of people: 12

Ingredients:

For the red fruit jelly:

  • 500g blackberries
  • 500g currants
  • 500g raspberries
  • 500g strawberries
  • 70g cornflour or 2 P. custard powder
  • 1l Juice (Commercially available)
  • 200g sugar

For the custard:

  • 2 P dessert powder custard for cooking
  • 60g sugar
  • 1 l milk
  • 1 cup whipping cream

Preparation:

The quantities of the fruits reflect the washed and cleaned berries. Clean and wash the berries, then put aside. If you are using large strawberries, cut them evenly. Remove about 10 tbsp. of the berry juice. Ass starch or custard powder and sugar, then stir. Add the remaining berry juice and bring to the boil. Add the starch, boil and then take off the stove. Add the berries, put everything into small bowls and put in the fridge. Prepare the custard according to the instruction. Then let it cool. Whip the cream and mix it gently to the cold custard. Then serve with red fruit jelly. If you like, you can replace the red jelly fruit with blueberries. If you want, you can collect the berries from the forest as well. Make sure you have a good knowledge about berries. This recipe is so easy that even young kids can help.
