Taco salad

Category: Salad
Difficulty/Costs: simple/low
Number of people: 12
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 heads iceberg lettuce
  • 750g minced meat
  • 2 bottles of Salsa
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 1 can of corn
  • 5 beefsteak tomatoes
  • 3 cup sour cream
  • Grated Gouda on demand
  • 2 packages taco chips
  • Chives or spring onions on Demand
  • Salt pepper
  • Rose Hot Chilli

Preparation:

Wash lettuce, dry and cut into strips and place in a large bowl. Drain beans and corn and also place into a bowl. Cut chives and spring onions finely. Season the mince with salt, pepper, paprika and spice mixture; then fry. Let cool slightly and place on the salad. For the Salsa, add beans and corn. Cut the tomatoes small and add as well. Season the sour mix with salt, pepper, paprika, chives and scallions. Spread the mixture over the salad and sprinkle with Gouda. Before serving garnish with taco chips. Because the chips are going soft after a little while, it is advisable to serve the chips separately. You can keep the leftovers for tomorrow’s salad.
