Grill vegetables

Category: Grilling
Difficulty/Costs: reasonable/manageable
Number of people: 12
Ingredients:
  • 6 peppers (Paprikamix)
  • 6 zucchini
  • 600 grammes of mushrooms
  • 6 medium onions (half white, half red)
  • 3 garlic bulbs
  • 500 ml oil
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp paprika
  • Thyme
  • Marjoram
  • Pepper

Preparation:

Clean, wash and cut the peppers into bite-size pieces. You also could use a pepper mix. It is well known; people eat with their eyes. Wash, clean and slice the zucchini. Also, peel and cut the onions into slices. Peel the garlic but leave whole. It is best you buy small mushrooms, to begin with. They are quite cheap if you buy them commercially. Use a fine brush or kitchen towel to clean them. By all means, avoid water. From the oil, pepper, paprika, thyme, marjoram, salt and 3 crushed garlic cloves make a dressing. Put the cleaned veggies in a large bowl, cover it with the dressing, then add the rest of the ingredients. Put the veggies on a baking or grill plate and bake at 200 ° C for 45 minutes. If you like you can add tomatoes to the veggies. If you prepare it all on the grill it is easier to put the veggies on wooden skewers. These are best soaked in water several hours earlier.
