Paella without fish

Ingredients:
  • 9 chicken breasts boneless
  • 450 g spicy sausage (chorizo)
  • Olive oil
  • 3 medium onions
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 675g risotto rice
  • Saffron powder
  • 3 yellow peppers
  • 1/8 l dry white wine
  • Salt, black pepper
  • 1,800 ml hot vegetable stock
  • 450 g peas (fresh or frozen)

Preparation:

Peel the onions and garlic and chop finely. Remove from the chicken all tendons and veins, then cut into large pieces. Peel the sausage as well and cut into slices Heat oil in a large frying pan and fry the chicken breasts until brown. Then remove and fry the chorizo in the fat on each side for about 1 minute. Remove the chorizo from the fat and place in a bowl. Add the onions and garlic in the remaining fat and sauté. Put the rice and saffron to the sauté. Then cut the peppers into strips and add as well. Next, put some wine in the pan and wait until it has been absorbed by the rice. Now add the vegetable stock and stir gently. Finally, put in the chicken pieces and let it cook for another 10 Minutes. Finally, add the peas and chorizo. Now you should wait for another 5 minutes.
