Lasagne

Category: Lunch
Sub-Category: Pasta
Difficulty/Costs: normal/moderate
Number of people: 12
Ingredients:
  • 6 medium onions
  • 6 Bund Soup green
  • 300g streaky bacon
  • 900g minced meat
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 9 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 150 ml strong red wine
  • 380 ml hot broth
  • 2 ¼ l hot milk
  • 450g mozzarella
  • 750 g lasagne sheets
  • 225g butter
  • 150 g flour
  • 300 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg
  • Olive oil

Preparation:

Clean and peel the onions and vegetables. Cut and dice the bacon and vegetables. Make sure that they are not cut too large. Fry the minced meat in olive oil and gradually add the bacon and vegetables. Next add the tomato paste, spices, broth, wine and 1/4 litre of milk and simmer for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, make a béchamel from the butter, flour and milk, then season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Add mozzarella in small cubes. Now grease one or two casseroles. Add pasta, tomato sauce, béchamel sauce and mozzarella cubes in layers to it. This should make for 4 – 5 layers. However, you can create more layers as long as casserole is high enough. Cover it all with a last layer of pasta and pour the remaining béchamel sauce over it, then sprinkle it all with Parmesan cheese and add some butter flakes. Bake it at 200 ° C for approximately 30 minutes.
