Vegetarian Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:
  • 12 green peppers (goes red, yellow)
  • 750 ml water
  • 2 cubes of broth
  • 3 cups rice
  • 750 ml tomato puree
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 bunch of parsley
  • 450 g grated cheese
  • 3 onions
  • 9 cloves garlic

Preparation:

Peel the onions and cut into cubes. Place in a bowl and put aside. Peel garlic and put in a bowl. Wash the peppers and cut off the top. Remove the seeds and wash the peppers again. Put the rice in salted water. In a large pan, steam the onions until glassy then add the garlic. Next add water, the bouillon cubes, cheese and mashed tomatoes. Gently mix in the rice and season with salt, pepper and oregano. Let it simmer briefly. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Fill the mass into the peppers. Place the peppers in a baking dish. Put a bit of the filling at the bottom, and if needed fill with some water. Put the baking dish in the oven and bake the peppers for 30 minutes. Serve with potatoes and parsley. You might want to add corn, black olives and pepper pieces as desired to the filling. You can also use different spices to give it a different taste.
