Potato casserole with minced meat

Ingredients:
  • 1.5kg potatoes
  • 1.5kg minced
  • 400g corn from a can
  • 400g mushrooms from the can
  • 300g grated cheese
  • 2 cups cream
  • 400g creme fraiche
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • 2 medium onions
  • 3 cloves garlic

Preparation:

Wash, peel and then cook the potatoes in salt water. Make sure a little bit water is left after you are finished. Drain and let cool. Peel the onions and chop finely. Peel garlic and also finely chop. If you want, you can crush the garlic instead. Mix the mince with the onion and garlic, then season with salt, pepper and paprika. Then fry the minced meat in portions. Cut the cooled potatoes into slices; then drain the corn and mushrooms. Grease a large baking dish. Alternately layer potatoes, minced meat and vegetables. In a separate bowl mix cream and crème Fraiche, season with salt, pepper and paprika. Pour it all over the casserole and sprinkle with cheese. Preheat the oven to 175 ° and bake everything for about 40 minutes.
