Chilli Chicken

Category: Lunch
Sub-Category: Meat dishes
Difficulty/Costs: simple/low
Number of people: 12
Ingredients:
  • 3 chicken (4-4.5kg) for frying
  • 300g streaky bacon
  • 3 onions
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Sweet paprika
  • ¾ liter poultry sauce
  • 6 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 cup sour cream or sour cream
  • 1 large can of tomato paste

Preparation:

Wash the chicken, pad dry and cut into pieces. If you want to save the work, can use 12 chicken legs. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper and coat with flour. Cut bacon, onion and garlic into cubes. Melt bacon in the pot, remove strips and put on aside. Then fry the chicken pieces in the bacon fat. Sauté onions and garlic. Add paprika and add the chicken pieces again. Stir the tomato paste in the remaining broth and add water if necessary. With closed lid and low heat simmer about 30 minutes. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Mix the sour cream and pour over the chicken. Serve with rice or chips. Noodles would make for an alternative.
