Bean stew with sharp liner

Category: Lunch
Sub-Category: Soups
Difficulty/Costs: simple/low
Number of people: 12
Ingredients:
  • 1,200g potatoes
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 6 medium onions
  • 6 tablespoons oil (olive)
  • 6 cans of peeled tomatoes
  • 3 leeks
  • 3 doses Italian white beans
  • 750g Cabanossi
  • 1.5 tsp dried marjoram
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation:

Place a very large pot on the stove. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Peel onion and garlic, then dice finely. Turn on the stove, put some oil in the pot and fry the fry potatoes, onions and garlic in it. Crush the tomatoes coarsely with a fork and add to the rest, then cook for 10 minutes. While this happens, cut the leek into rings and wash thoroughly. Be aware; there could be sand between the leaves, therefore, always wash thoroughly. Cut the Cabanossi in not too thin slices and add to the pot. Season with salt, pepper and marjoram and cook for another 10 minutes.
